Personal Injury Law

Have you been involved in an accident or injured through no fault of your own? Do you feel that someone else is responsible?

Whilst Personal Injuries Law generally falls under the broad heading of Litigation, it forms such a huge part of modern legal practice that it deserves its own special department. Here at John McNamara and Associates, we specialise in Personal Injuries Law and in helping people vindicate their legal rights and achieve the best possible results in as timely a fashion as the case allows. We understand that each case is different and each and every client's requirements are specific to them.

Have you recently been involved in an accident or injured through no fault of your own? Do you feel that someone else is responsible? If so please feel free to contact us and make an appointment to speak to one of our Solicitors in Limerick. Our team will be happy to advise you in an honest fashion – if we feel you have a case worth pursuing we will help, likewise if we feel you do not have a viable case, we will advise accordingly and not waste your time and money pursuing a fruitless case.

Areas Covered

We advise on all aspects of Personal Injuries law including:

  • Road Traffic Accidents
  • Public Liability Claims
  • Accidents at Work
  • Product Liability Claims
  • Accidents on Private Property
  • Fatal Injury
  • Post Traumatic Stress
  • Workplace Stress and Bullying Claims

If you have suffered by reason of any one of the above you may be entitled to bring a claim for injuries, loss of earnings, medical expenses and any other losses as a result.

First Consultation

We will advise on the various stages of the process in our first consultation. Processing a Personal Injuries Claim once initial instructions are taken can involve obtaining medical reports and records, assisting in arranging the repair of a damaged vehicle and ensuring same is compensated for, lodging the claim with the Injuries Board, drafting appropriate proceedings for either the District Court, Circuit Court or High Court and seeing matters through to a successful conclusion either through early settlement or attending Court. Rest assured we will keep you informed of all the steps being taken along the way.

If you are unsure as to your standing to take a case contact us now and make an appointment. Our office is centrally located in Limerick City. Please ensure you do not delay – the Statute of Limitations for taking a Personal Injuries Action is two years and you would be surprised how time can slip away from you.

It is important to point out that in contentious matters a solicitor may not calculate fees or other charges as a percentage or proportion of any award or settlement.
